September News

As keen-eyed visitors may already have noticed, I've been updating my website. I'm still working on it, so you may find a few things moving around over the coming weeks. Print will finally be coming for the Greenwing & Dart series, along with some of the shorter works. A few will have to wait for a few more short stories so I can make a collection out of them.

Since my last blog post, which was way back in February, I've published a few short pieces. I apologize for my tardiness in announcing them, but if this is where you hear about them, I hope you enjoy the little bouquet of tales (to mix my metaphors) available to you.

Terec and the Wall is the sequel to Terec and the Wild. It is the second of what I believe will be four novellas about Terec of Lund. I don't have a date yet for the second two, so for those of you who prefer print, I will be releasing the first two Terec stories together shortly.

Next is Traveller's Joy, which takes us back to Alinor for another glimpse of Hal's perspective on things. (We first got his side of the story in Clary Sage.) It takes place right at the end of Hal's time at Morrowlea, the summer before Stargazy Pie begins. It's too short to be a standalone print book, so I suppose I shall have to write a third piece to go along with it.

Most recently, The Glassblower is the first of a diptych (two companion stories) about Scheherezade the Storyteller and Raphael of Ysthar (from Till Human Voices Wake Us). The second will be out soon; I was a little delayed from my intended release date of the end of August, but anticipate The Storyteller will be out before the end of September. Print will again be both stories together.

Happy reading!
