Refund policy

Ebooks and audiobooks are digital products and are available immediately upon order. They are not returnable; if you have accidentally ordered the wrong item, please contact me immediately and I will see what I can do.

The print books available from my site are printed on demand, to order, and are then shipped directly to you. Because of this, unfortunately I cannot accept returns.

Once the order is placed, there is only a short window in which it can be cancelled. (Usually within 24 orders, longer over weekends.) Please email immediately if you have made a mistake, and I will do my best to resolve the issue. 

Books are printed in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia, and will be shipped from the nearest printer to you. Most books can be produced in each of these places. However, there are certain items (mostly the shorter novellas) that can only be produced in the UK. If you order one of these, the entire order will ship from the UK regardless of your closest printer. The shipping cost will reflect this. Please email before placing the order if you want to confirm options.

Please note, that given the nature of print-on-demand production, occasionally there will be misprints. (So far we have had incorrect stories matched to covers, both mine; an intriguing one where the text had the correct cover but was spliced between two different books, neither of which were mine; one in which the correct story was printed twice ...) It is rare, but if this should happen to you, please email me with pictures of the problem so I can relay them to the printer and get replacement copies sent to you.
